Are Breville juicers the best juicers? After all, Breville is the market leader in juicers, having a 20% market share. In other words, 1-in-5 juicers have a Breville juicer. I have used each Breville juicer and want to share my thoughts with you.
Breville makes three juicers:
- Compact Juice Fountain;
- Juice Fountain Plus;
- Juice Fountain Elite.
Breville juicers rose to fame after Joe Cross showcased Breville juicers in his inspirational documentary, Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead.
In Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead an obese man named Joe Cross uses juice to lose 80 pounds of fat and cure himself of a debilitating autoimmune disease. Juicing is now a big deal and Breville has led the movement.
Breville offers three extremely popular centrifugal juicers. Scroll down to read a separate Breville juicer review for each?
- Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain;
- Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus;
- Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite.
A centrifugal juicer operates by spinning a blade at 10,000 rpms. A piece of fruit of a vegetable is moved down a chute. The blades spin rapidly, separating the juice from the pulp. The juice comes out one end, and the pulp is thrown into a pulp basin.

Centrifugal juicers offer the benefit of speed. They are extremely fast. You can make a lot of juice in just a few minutes. They are powerful and relatively easy to clean.
Although Breville juicers do a great job with carrots, beets, apples, celery, cubumers, and other “hard” fruits and vegetables, they do a weaker job with juicing leafy greens like spinach and kale. You’ll get approximately 3 times as much juice from kale and leafy greens using an Omega juicer.
That said, a person can’t go wrong getting a Breville. Many of my friends use various Breville juicers and all have fallen in love with the device.
